The initiative, led by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), aims to create a connected health system in the continent.<br><br>\nThe goal is to enable healthcare providers to access a patient\u2019s medical history from their home country for treatment when they travel or live in another country in the region. \n\n\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 \"><br>\nThis initiative also aims to enhance treatment delivery&#8217;s quality, safety, and efficiency.
